I offer a variety of editorial and mentoring services for emerging writers, everything from the critique of a handful of poems or a short story, to a complete manuscript review. I charge $75 CDN an hour for this work.

We can work together via email, snail mail, or Zoom.

I begin with a deep respect for other writers and an abiding belief that what I do best is ask questions, offer a variety of suggestions, and ultimately teach you to be a stronger reader of your own work.

Different options include:

• full length manuscript critique

• individual poem or short story critiques

• sending your work out into the world (publishing)

• chapbook length manuscript critique

• support submitting work to journals

• prompts & assignments to generate new work


PRO BONO WORK

Every year I will accept a total of three manuscripts from three different emerging authors to work with. I will choose manuscripts and authors that I feel comfortable with, those who I think would be a good fit with my style and methods of work, given my expertise in specific areas.
